The Best Bull to Be Selected at the Largest Exhibition Near Astana

Who will become the No.1 bull in Kazakhstan? The answer will be revealed at the National “Best Bull” Contest, which will take place as part of the country’s premier agricultural exhibition – Jańa Dala / Green Day ‘2025.
The grand prize of the competition is a brand-new YTO wheeled tractor, awarded to the winner in the “Absolute Champion” category. Participants will be evaluated by an international panel of judges comprising leading breeding and livestock specialists from the USA, the UK, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
The selection of the Absolute Champion bull will be the highlight of a spectacular and competitive event featuring top livestock breeders. The festive program includes: exhibitions of farm animals, breed competitions for Angus, Auliekol, Hereford, Kazakh Whitehead, Kalmyk, bull auctions, as well as a Steak Festival with live cooking shows by Black Angus, Qazaq Aqbas, QALMAQ Meat, and Stolichnaya Trapeza.
This rich livestock program is part of Kazakhstan’s largest agro-industrial showcase – the Specialized Demonstration Exhibition “Jańa Dala / Green Day ‘2025”. The traditional field-day format agricultural forum will be held on July 17–18, 2025, just 20 km from Astana, on the demonstration fields of Agrofirma “Aqtyq” JSC (Nuryesil village, Tselinograd district, Akmola region, beyond Talapker settlement).
Since its launch in 2013, the exhibition has served as the country’s largest demo platform for modern agricultural technologies, high-performance machinery, and innovations in livestock breeding, genetics and selection, as well as new solutions in veterinary medicine, agronomy, agrochemistry, and organic farming.
At Jańa Dala / Green Day ‘2025, more than 200 companies from over 20 countries are expected to participate, alongside more than 5,000 professional visitors from the agribusiness sector. The most relevant and forward-looking developments in Kazakhstan’s and global agriculture will be presented across the following exhibition blocks: “Agricultural Machinery and Equipment”, “Crop Production”, “Livestock”, and “Profitable Hectare.” Over 500 units of agricultural machinery and cutting-edge equipment across a wide range of applications will be showcased and demonstrated.
National pavilions will be presented by global agribusiness leaders including France, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Notably, France is the official partner country of this year’s exhibition.
Among the distinguished guests and participants of the event are the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akim of Akmola Region, the Ambassadors of France, the Republic of Belarus, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a large delegation from the Russian Federation, and representatives from regional and district Akimats.
